ਸਬਦਿ ਮਨੁ ਰੰਗਿਆ; ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥
sabad man rangiaa; liv laae |
ਮਨੁਆਂ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਰੰਗੀਜਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਜੁੜ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
The mind is attuned to the Word of the Shabad; it is lovingly attuned to the Lord.
ਨਿਜ ਘਰਿ ਵਸਿਆ; ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਰਜਾਇ ॥੧॥
nij ghar vasiaa; prabh kee rajaae |1|
ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਮਰਜੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਇਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਿੱਜ ਦੇ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਸਦਾ ਹੈ।
It abides within its own home, in harmony with the Lord's Will. ||1||
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਿਐ; ਜਾਇ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੁ ॥
satigur seviai; jaae abhimaan |
ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਟਹਿਲ ਕਮਾਉਣ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
Serving the True Guru, egotistical pride departs,
ਗੋਵਿਦੁ ਪਾਈਐ; ਗੁਣੀ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
govid paaeeai; gunee nidhaan |1| rahaau |
ਅਤੇ ਗੁਣਾ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।
and the Lord of the Universe, the Treasure of Excellence, is obtained. ||1||Pause||
ਮਨੁ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ; ਜਾ ਸਬਦਿ ਭਉ ਖਾਇ ॥
man bairaagee; jaa sabad bhau khaae |
ਜਦ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦਾ ਡਰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਮਨੂਆਂ ਇਛਾ-ਰਹਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
The mind becomes detached and free of desire, when it experiences the Fear of God, through the Shabad.
ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਨਿਰਮਲਾ; ਸਭ ਤੈ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਇ ॥
meraa prabh niramalaa; sabh tai rahiaa samaae |
ਮੇਰਾ ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
My Immaculate God is pervading and contained among all.
ਗੁਰ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੇ; ਮਿਲੈ ਮਿਲਾਇ ॥੨॥
gur kirapaa te; milai milaae |2|
ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਅੰਦਰ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
By Guru's Grace, one is united in His Union. ||2||
ਹਰਿ ਦਾਸਨ ਕੋ ਦਾਸੁ; ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਏ ॥
har daasan ko daas; sukh paae |
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਨੌਕਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਨੌਕਰ ਆਰਾਮ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
The slave of the Lord's slave attains peace.
ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ; ਇਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾਏ ॥
meraa har prabh; in bidh paaeaa jaae |
ਮੇਰਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਇਸ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
My Lord God is found in this way.
ਹਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੇ; ਰਾਮ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ॥੩॥
har kirapaa te; raam gun gaae |3|
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਦਮੀ ਸਾਈਂ ਦਾ ਜੱਸ ਆਲਾਪਦਾ ਹੈ।
By the Grace of the Lord, one comes to sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||3||
ਧਿ੍ਰਗੁ ਬਹੁ ਜੀਵਣੁ; ਜਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ. ਨ ਲਗੈ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥
dhrig bahu jeevan; jit har naam. na lagai piaar |
ਲਾਨ੍ਹਤ ਮਾਰੀ ਹੈ ਲੰਮੀ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਰਹੜੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਦੀ।
Cursed is that long life, during which love for the Lord's Name is not enshrined.
ਧਿ੍ਰਗੁ ਸੇਜ ਸੁਖਾਲੀ; ਕਾਮਣਿ ਮੋਹ ਗੁਬਾਰੁ ॥
dhrig sej sukhaalee; kaaman moh gubaar |
ਫਿਟੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਹੈ ਸੁਖਦਾਈ ਪਲੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰਾ ਹੈ।
Cursed is that comfortable bed which lures one into the darkness of attachment to sexual desire.
ਤਿਨ ਸਫਲੁ ਜਨਮੁ; ਜਿਨ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਧਾਰੁ ॥੪॥
tin safal janam; jin naam adhaar |4|
ਫਲਦਾਇਕ ਹੈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ।
Fruitful is the birth of that person who takes the Support of the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||4||
ਧਿ੍ਰਗੁ ਧਿ੍ਰਗੁ ਗਿ੍ਰਹੁ ਕੁਟੰਬੁ; ਜਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ. ਨ ਹੋਇ ॥
dhrig dhrig grihu kuttanb; jit har preet. na hoe |
ਲਾਨ੍ਹਤ ਯੋਗ, ਲਾਨ੍ਹਤ ਯੋਗ; ਹੈ ਘਰ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਵਾਰ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਦਾ।
Cursed, cursed is that home and family, in which the love of the Lord is not embraced.
ਸੋਈ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਮੀਤੁ; ਜੋ. ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ ਸੋਇ ॥
soee hamaaraa meet; jo. har gun gaavai soe |
ਕੇਵਲ ਉਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਜੱਸ ਗਾਇਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
He alone is my friend, who sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord.
ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨਾ; ਮੈ. ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥੫॥
har naam binaa; mai. avar na koe |5|
ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਬਗੇਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ।
Without the Lord's Name, there is no other for me. ||5||
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਹਮ; ਗਤਿ ਪਤਿ ਪਾਈ ॥
satigur te ham; gat pat paaee |
ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਤੇ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
From the True Guru, I have obtained salvation and honor.
ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ; ਦੂਖੁ ਸਗਲ ਮਿਟਾਈ ॥
har naam dhiaaeaa; dookh sagal mittaaee |
ਮੈਂ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਕਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਪਾ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ।
I have meditated on the Name of the Lord, and all my sufferings have been erased.
ਸਦਾ ਅਨੰਦੁ; ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਈ ॥੬॥
sadaa anand; har naam liv laaee |6|
ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਪਾਉਣ ਦੁਆਰਾ, ਮੈਂ ਸਦੀਵੀ ਪਰਸੰਨਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਹੈ।
I am in constant bliss, lovingly attuned to the Lord's Name. ||6||
ਗੁਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਐ; ਹਮ ਕਉ. ਸਰੀਰ ਸੁਧਿ ਭਈ ॥
gur miliai; ham kau. sareer sudh bhee |
ਗੁਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਟਣ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਦੋਹਿ ਦੀ ਗਿਆਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
Meeting the Guru, I came to understand my body.
ਹਉਮੈ ਤਿ੍ਰਸਨਾ; ਸਭ ਅਗਨਿ ਬੁਝਈ ॥
haumai trisanaa; sabh agan bujhee |
ਹੰਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਹਿਸ਼ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਸਮੂਹ ਬੁਝ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
The fires of ego and desire have been totally quenched.
ਬਿਨਸੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ; ਖਿਮਾ ਗਹਿ ਲਈ ॥੭॥
binase krodh; khimaa geh lee |7|
ਮੇਰਾ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਮਿਟ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਸਹਿਨਸ਼ੀਲਤਾ ਪਕੜ ਲਈ ਹੈ।
Anger has been dispelled, and I have grasped hold of tolerance. ||7||
ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਕਿ੍ਰਪਾ ਕਰੇ; ਨਾਮੁ ਦੇਵੈ ॥
har aape kripaa kare; naam devai |
ਠਾਕੁਰ ਆਪ ਮਿਹਰ ਧਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਮ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Lord Himself showers His Mercy, and bestows the Naam.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਰਤਨੁ; ਕੋ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਲੇਵੈ ॥
guramukh ratan; ko viralaa levai |
ਕੋਈ ਟਾਵਾ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਹੀ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ, ਨਾਮ ਹੀਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
How rare is that Gurmukh, who receives the jewel of the Naam.
ਨਾਨਕੁ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ; ਹਰਿ ਅਲਖ ਅਭੇਵੈ ॥੮॥੮॥
naanak gun gaavai; har alakh abhevai |8|8|
ਨਾਨਕ, ਸਮਝ ਸੋਚ ਤੋਂ ਉਚੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਭੇਦ-ਰਹਿਤ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਜੱਸ ਗਾਇਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
O Nanak, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, the Unknowable, the Incomprehensible. ||8||8||
ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਕੇਵਲ ਇਕ ਹੈ। ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਹ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਰਾਗੁ ਗਉੜੀ ਬੈਰਾਗਣਿ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ॥

ਰਾਗ ਗਊੜੀ ਬੈਰਾਗਣਿ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਤੀਜੀ।
Raag Gauree Bairaagan, Third Mehl:
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤੇ. ਜੋ ਮੁਹ ਫੇਰੇ; ਤੇ ਵੇਮੁਖ. ਬੁਰੇ ਦਿਸੰਨਿ ॥
satigur te. jo muh fere; te vemukh. bure disan |
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਮੂੰਹ ਮੋੜਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ-ਹੀਣ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਦਿਸਦੇ ਹਨ।
Those who turn their faces away from the True Guru, are seen to be unfaithful and evil.
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਬਧੇ ਮਾਰੀਅਨਿ; ਫਿਰਿ. ਵੇਲਾ ਨਾ ਲਹੰਨਿ ॥੧॥
anadin badhe maareean; fir. velaa naa lahan |1|
ਨਰੜ ਕੇ, ਉਹ ਰਾਤ ਦਿਨ ਕੁੱਟੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਮੌਕਾ ਹੱਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਣਾ।
They shall be bound and beaten night and day; they shall not have this opportunity again. ||1||
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਖਹੁ; ਕਿ੍ਰਪਾ ਧਾਰਿ ॥
har har raakhahu; kripaa dhaar |
ਹੈ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਰਹਿਮ ਕਰੋ ਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲਓ।
O Lord, please shower Your Mercy upon me, and save me!
ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਮੇਲਾਇ ਪ੍ਰਭ; ਹਰਿ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਸਾਰਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
satasangat melaae prabh; har hiradai har gun saar |1| rahaau |
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜ ਦੇ ਹੈ ਮਾਲਕ! ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਅੰਦਰ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਡਿਆਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਾਂ ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।
O Lord God, please lead me to meet the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, that I may dwell upon the Glorious Praises of the Lord within my heart. ||1||Pause||
ਸੇ ਭਗਤ ਹਰਿ ਭਾਵਦੇ; ਜੋ. ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਭਾਇ ਚਲੰਨਿ ॥
se bhagat har bhaavade; jo. guramukh bhaae chalan |
ਉਹ ਅਨੁਰਾਗੀ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੇ ਲਗਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਟੂਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Those devotees are pleasing to the Lord, who as Gurmukh, walk in harmony with the Way of the Lord's Will.
ਆਪੁ ਛੋਡਿ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨਿ; ਜੀਵਤ ਮੁਏ ਰਹੰਨਿ ॥੨॥
aap chhodd sevaa karan; jeevat mue rahan |2|
ਆਪਣੀ ਸਵੈ-ਹੰਗਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਈਂ ਦੀ ਚਾਕਰੀ ਕਮਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਜੀਉਂਦੇ ਜੀ ਮਰੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Subduing their selfishness and conceit, and performing selfless service, they remain dead while yet alive. ||2||
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਪਰਾਣ ਹੈ; ਤਿਸ ਕੀ ਸਿਰਿ ਕਾਰ ॥
jis daa pindd paraan hai; tis kee sir kaar |
ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਮਲਕੀਅਤ ਜਿਸਮ ਅਤੇ ਜਿੰਦ ਜਾਨ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਉੱਚੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਮਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੈ।
The body and the breath of life belong to the One - perform the greatest service to Him.
ਓਹੁ ਕਿਉ. ਮਨਹੁ ਵਿਸਾਰੀਐ; ਹਰਿ ਰਖੀਐ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਧਾਰਿ ॥੩॥
ohu kiau. manahu visaareeai; har rakheeai hiradai dhaar |3|
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਭੁਲਾਈਏ? ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਨਾਲ ਲਾਈ ਰਖਣਾ ਉਚਿਤ ਹੈ।
Why forget Him from your mind? Keep the Lord enshrined in your heart. ||3||
ਨਾਮਿ ਮਿਲਿਐ. ਪਤਿ ਪਾਈਐ; ਨਾਮਿ ਮੰਨਿਐ. ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
naam miliai. pat paaeeai; naam maniai. sukh hoe |
ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਮ ਅੰਦਰ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਰਾਮ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
Receiving the Naam, the Name of the Lord, one obtains honor; believing in the Naam, one is at peace.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤੇ. ਨਾਮੁ ਪਾਈਐ; ਕਰਮਿ ਮਿਲੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੋਇ ॥੪॥
satigur te. naam paaeeai; karam milai prabh soe |4|
ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਨਾਮ ਹਾਸਲ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਰਹਿਮਤ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Naam is obtained from the True Guru; by His Grace, God is found. ||4||
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤੇ, ਜੋ ਮੁਹੁ ਫੇਰੇ; ਓਇ ਭ੍ਰਮਦੇ. ਨਾ ਟਿਕੰਨਿ ॥
satigur te, jo muhu fere; oe bhramade. naa ttikan |
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਮੋੜ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਭਟਕਦੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਥਿਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ।
They turn their faces away from the True Guru; they continue to wander aimlessly.
ਧਰਤਿ ਅਸਮਾਨੁ. ਨ ਝਲਈ; ਵਿਚਿ ਵਿਸਟਾ ਪਏ ਪਚੰਨਿ ॥੫॥
dharat asamaan. na jhalee; vich visattaa pe pachan |5|
ਜਮੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦੇ। ਗੰਦਗੀ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਡਿਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਹ ਉਥੇ ਗਲ ਸੜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
They are not accepted by the earth or the sky; they fall into manure, and rot. ||5||
ਇਹੁ ਜਗੁ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਇਆ; ਮੋਹ ਠਗਉਲੀ ਪਾਇ ॥
eihu jag bharam bhulaaeaa; moh tthgaulee paae |
ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਲਗਨ ਦੀ ਨਸ਼ੀਲੀ ਬੂਟੀ ਦੇ ਕੇ, ਇਹ ਜਹਾਨ ਵਹਿਮ ਅੰਦਰ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪਾ ਦਿਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
This world is deluded by doubt - it has taken the drug of emotional attachment.
ਜਿਨਾ. ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਭੇਟਿਆ; ਤਿਨ ਨੇੜਿ. ਨ ਭਿਟੈ ਮਾਇ ॥੬॥

ਮਾਇਆ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਾਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਦੀ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਹਨ।
Maya does not draw near those who have met with the True Guru. ||6||
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਨਿ ਸੋ ਸੋਹਣੇ; ਹਉਮੈ ਮੈਲੁ ਗਵਾਇ ॥

ਜੋ ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਘਾਲ ਕਮਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਸੁਨੱਖੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਵੈ-ਹੰਗਤਾ ਦੀ ਗੰਦਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਰੇ ਸੁਟ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Those who serve the True Guru are very beautiful; they cast off the filth of selfishness and conceit.
