ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਾਨਕ, ਇਨਸਾਨ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਲਾਭਦਾਇਕ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
O Nanak, in the Company of the Holy, one's life becomes fruitful. ||5||
ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ; ਨਹੀ ਕਛੁ ਘਾਲ ॥
saadh kai sang; nahee kachh ghaal |
ਸਤਿ ਸੰਗਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਕੋਈ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਠਾਉਂਦਾ।
In the Company of the Holy, there is no suffering.
ਦਰਸਨੁ ਭੇਟਤ; ਹੋਤ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥

ਸੰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਲਣ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਪਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Blessed Vision of their Darshan brings a sublime, happy peace.
ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ; ਕਲੂਖਤ ਹਰੈ ॥

ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਲੰਕ ਧੋਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
In the Company of the Holy, blemishes are removed.
ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ; ਨਰਕ ਪਰਹਰੈ ॥

ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦੋਜ਼ਖ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਜਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the Company of the Holy, hell is far away.
ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ; ਈਹਾ ਊਹਾ ਸੁਹੇਲਾ ॥
saadh kai sang; eehaa aoohaa suhelaa |
ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਜੀਵ ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਲੋਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੁਸ਼ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the Company of the Holy, one is happy here and hereafter.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ; ਬਿਛੁਰਤ ਹਰਿ ਮੇਲਾ ॥
saadhasang; bichhurat har melaa |
ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਜੋ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵਿਛੁੜੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਦੇ ਹਨ।
In the Company of the Holy, the separated ones are reunited with the Lord.
ਜੋ ਇਛੈ; ਸੋਈ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
jo ichhai; soee fal paavai |
ਜੋ ਮੇਵਾ ਉਹ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਪਾ ਲੈਦਾ ਹੈ,
The fruits of one's desires are obtained.
ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ; ਨ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਜਾਵੈ ॥
saadh kai sang; na birathaa jaavai |
ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਖਾਲੀ ਹੱਥੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦਾ।
In the Company of the Holy, no one goes empty-handed.
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ; ਸਾਧ ਰਿਦ ਬਸੈ ॥

ਸ਼ਰੋਮਣੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸੰਤ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਅੰਦਰ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Supreme Lord God dwells in the hearts of the Holy.
ਨਾਨਕ ਉਧਰੈ; ਸਾਧ ਸੁਨਿ ਰਸੈ ॥੬॥

ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਜੀਭਾ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸ੍ਰਵਣ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਪਾਰ ਉਤਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
O Nanak, listening to the sweet words of the Holy, one is saved. ||6||
ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ; ਸੁਨਉ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਉ ॥
saadh kai sang; sunau har naau |
ਸਤਿ ਸੰਗਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸ੍ਰਵਣ ਕਰ।
In the Company of the Holy, listen to the Name of the Lord.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ; ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਉ ॥
saadhasang; har ke gun gaau |
ਸਤਿ ਸੰਗਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਜੱਸ ਗਾਇਨ ਕਰ।
In the Company of the Holy, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.
ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ; ਨ ਮਨ ਤੇ ਬਿਸਰੈ ॥
saadh kai sang; na man te bisarai |
ਸਤਿ ਸੰਗਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਿੱਤੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਭੁਲਾਉਂਦਾ।
In the Company of the Holy, do not forget Him from your mind.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ; ਸਰਪਰ ਨਿਸਤਰੈ ॥
saadhasang; sarapar nisatarai |
ਸਤਿ ਸੰਗਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਹ ਨਿਸਚਿਤ ਹੀ ਪਾਰ ਉੱਤਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the Company of the Holy, you shall surely be saved.
ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ; ਲਗੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮੀਠਾ ॥
saadh kai sang; lagai prabh meetthaa |
ਸਤਿ ਸੰਗਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਿੱਠਾ ਲੱਗਣ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the Company of the Holy, God seems very sweet.
ਸਾਧੂ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ; ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਡੀਠਾ ॥
saadhoo kai sang; ghatt ghatt ddeetthaa |
ਸਤਿ ਸੰਗਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਹਰ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਸ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the Company of the Holy, He is seen in each and every heart.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ; ਭਏ ਆਗਿਆਕਾਰੀ ॥
saadhasang; bhe aagiaakaaree |
ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the Company of the Holy, we become obedient to the Lord.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ; ਗਤਿ ਭਈ ਹਮਾਰੀ ॥
saadhasang; gat bhee hamaaree |
ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਮੈਂ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਹੈ।
In the Company of the Holy, we obtain the state of salvation.
ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ; ਮਿਟੇ ਸਭਿ ਰੋਗ ॥
saadh kai sang; mitte sabh rog |
ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬੀਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਹਟ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
In the Company of the Holy, all diseases are cured.
ਨਾਨਕ; ਸਾਧ ਭੇਟੇ ਸੰਜੋਗ ॥੭॥
naanak; saadh bhette sanjog |7|
ਨਾਨਕ ਚੰਗੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸੰਤ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹਨ।
O Nanak, one meets with the Holy, by highest destiny. ||7||
ਸਾਧ ਕੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ; ਬੇਦ ਨ ਜਾਨਹਿ ॥
saadh kee mahimaa; bed na jaaneh |
ਵੇਦ ਨੇਕ ਹਸਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਕੀਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ।
The glory of the Holy people is not known to the Vedas.
ਜੇਤਾ ਸੁਨਹਿ; ਤੇਤਾ ਬਖਿਆਨਹਿ ॥
jetaa suneh; tetaa bakhiaaneh |
ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਓਨਾ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨਾ ਕੁ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ।
They can describe only what they have heard.
ਸਾਧ ਕੀ ਉਪਮਾ; ਤਿਹੁ ਗੁਣ ਤੇ ਦੂਰਿ ॥
saadh kee upamaa; tihu gun te door |
ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਲੱਛਣਾ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇਡੇ ਹੈ।
The greatness of the Holy people is beyond the three qualities.
ਸਾਧ ਕੀ ਉਪਮਾ; ਰਹੀ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ॥
saadh kee upamaa; rahee bharapoor |
ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ।
The greatness of the Holy people is all-pervading.
ਸਾਧ ਕੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਕਾ; ਨਾਹੀ ਅੰਤ ॥
saadh kee sobhaa kaa; naahee ant |
ਸੰਤ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਓੜਕ ਨਹੀਂ।
The glory of the Holy people has no limit.
ਸਾਧ ਕੀ ਸੋਭਾ; ਸਦਾ ਬੇਅੰਤ ॥
saadh kee sobhaa; sadaa beant |
ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਹੀ ਬੇ-ਇਨਤਹਾ ਹੈ ਮਹਾਨਤਾ ਸੰਤ ਦੀ।
The glory of the Holy people is infinite and eternal.
ਸਾਧ ਕੀ ਸੋਭਾ; ਊਚ ਤੇ ਊਚੀ ॥
saadh kee sobhaa; aooch te aoochee |
ਸੰਤ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਉੱਚੀ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚੀ ਹੈ।
The glory of the Holy people is the highest of the high.
ਸਾਧ ਕੀ ਸੋਭਾ; ਮੂਚ ਤੇ ਮੂਚੀ ॥
saadh kee sobhaa; mooch te moochee |
ਸੰਤ ਦੀ ਕੀਰਤੀ ਵਡਿਆ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਵੱਡੀ ਹੈ।
The glory of the Holy people is the greatest of the great.
ਸਾਧ ਕੀ ਸੋਭਾ; ਸਾਧ ਬਨਿ ਆਈ ॥
saadh kee sobhaa; saadh ban aaee |
ਸੰਤ ਦੀ ਕੀਰਤੀ ਕੇਵਲ ਸੰਤ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਫਬਦੀ ਹੈ।
The glory of the Holy people is theirs alone;
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਧ ਪ੍ਰਭ; ਭੇਦੁ ਨ ਭਾਈ ॥੮॥੭॥
naanak saadh prabh; bhed na bhaaee |8|7|
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸੰਤ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਫਰਕ ਨਹੀਂ, ਮੇਰੇ ਵੀਰ।
O Nanak, there is no difference between the Holy people and God. ||8||7||

ਮਨਿ ਸਾਚਾ; ਮੁਖਿ ਸਾਚਾ ਸੋਇ ॥
man saachaa; mukh saachaa soe |
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸੱਚਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਸੱਚੇ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
The True One is on his mind, and the True One is upon his lips.
ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਪੇਖੈ; ਏਕਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਕੋਇ ॥
avar na pekhai; ekas bin koe |
ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਅਦੁੱਤੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
He sees only the One.
ਨਾਨਕ. ਇਹ ਲਛਣ; ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹੋਇ ॥੧॥

ਨਾਨਕ! ਇਹ ਹਨ ਗੁਣ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਨਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੇ।
O Nanak, these are the qualities of the God-conscious being. ||1||

ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ; ਸਦਾ ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ॥

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਨਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਅਟੰਕ ਰਹਿਦਾ ਹੈ,
The God-conscious being is always unattached,
ਜੈਸੇ ਜਲ ਮਹਿ; ਕਮਲ ਅਲੇਪ ॥
jaise jal meh; kamal alep |
ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਵਲ ਅਤੀਤ ਵਿਚਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
as the lotus in the water remains detached.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ; ਸਦਾ ਨਿਰਦੋਖ ॥
braham giaanee; sadaa niradokh |
ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਨਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਸਦੀਵ ਬੇਦਾਗ ਹੈ,
The God-conscious being is always unstained,
ਜੈਸੇ ਸੂਰੁ; ਸਰਬ ਕਉ ਸੋਖ ॥
jaise soor; sarab kau sokh |
ਜਿਵੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਖ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
like the sun, which gives its comfort and warmth to all.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ; ਦਿ੍ਰਸਟਿ ਸਮਾਨਿ ॥
braham giaanee kai; drisatt samaan |
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਨਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਅੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ,
The God-conscious being looks upon all alike,
ਜੈਸੇ ਰਾਜ ਰੰਕ ਕਉ; ਲਾਗੈ ਤੁਲਿ ਪਵਾਨ ॥
jaise raaj rank kau; laagai tul pavaan |
ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਵਾਂ, ਰਾਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਗਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਇਕਸਾਰ ਲਗਦੀ ਹੈ।
like the wind, which blows equally upon the king and the poor beggar.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ; ਧੀਰਜੁ ਏਕ ॥
braham giaanee kai; dheeraj ek |
ਰੱਬ ਨਾਂ ਜਾਨਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੀ ਸਹਿਨੀਲਤਾ ਇਕਸਾਰ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ,
The God-conscious being has a steady patience,
ਜਿਉ ਬਸੁਧਾ; ਕੋਊ ਖੋਦੈ. ਕੋਊ ਚੰਦਨ ਲੇਪ ॥
jiau basudhaa; koaoo khodai. koaoo chandan lep |
ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਜਣਾ ਪੁਟਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਚੰਨਣ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਪਦਾ ਹੈ।
like the earth, which is dug up by one, and anointed with sandal paste by another.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ; ਇਹੈ ਗੁਨਾਉ ॥
braham giaanee kaa; ihai gunaau |
ਇਹ ਹੈ ਗੁਣ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਾ।
This is the quality of the God-conscious being:
ਨਾਨਕ. ਜਿਉ ਪਾਵਕ ਕਾ; ਸਹਜ ਸੁਭਾਉ ॥੧॥
naanak. jiau paavak kaa; sehaj subhaau |1|
ਨਾਨਕ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜਮਾਂਦਰੂ ਸੁਭਾਅ ਅੱਗ ਦੀ ਮਾਨਿਦ ਸਭਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
O Nanak, his inherent nature is like a warming fire. ||1||
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ; ਨਿਰਮਲ ਤੇ ਨਿਰਮਲਾ ॥
braham giaanee; niramal te niramalaa |
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ-ਬੇਤਾ ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮ ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਹੈ,
The God-conscious being is the purest of the pure;
ਜੈਸੇ ਮੈਲੁ; ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ਜਲਾ ॥
jaise mail; na laagai jalaa |
ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਦਗੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਿਮੜਦੀ।
filth does not stick to water.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ; ਮਨਿ ਹੋਇ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸੁ ॥
braham giaanee kai; man hoe pragaas |
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ-ਬੇਤੇ ਦੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਚਾਨਣ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
The God-conscious being's mind is enlightened,
ਜੈਸੇ; ਧਰ ਊਪਰਿ ਆਕਾਸੁ ॥
jaise; dhar aoopar aakaas |
ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਅਸਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਮਾਨਿੰਦ।
like the sky above the earth.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ; ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਸਮਾਨਿ ॥
braham giaanee kai; mitr satru samaan |
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ-ਬੇਤੇ ਲਈ ਦੋਸਤ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਸਮਨ ਇਕ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਹਨ।
To the God-conscious being, friend and foe are the same.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ; ਨਾਹੀ ਅਭਿਮਾਨ ॥
braham giaanee kai; naahee abhimaan |
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ-ਬੇਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ।
The God-conscious being has no egotistical pride.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ; ਊਚ ਤੇ ਊਚਾ ॥
braham giaanee; aooch te aoochaa |
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ-ਬੇਤਾ ਉਚਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਮਹਾਨ ਉਚਾ ਹੈ।
The God-conscious being is the highest of the high.
ਮਨਿ ਅਪਨੈ ਹੈ; ਸਭ ਤੇ ਨੀਚਾ ॥
man apanai hai; sabh te neechaa |
ਆਪਣੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਹ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਨੀਵਾਂ ਹੈ।
Within his own mind, he is the most humble of all.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ; ਸੇ ਜਨ ਭਏ ॥
braham giaanee; se jan bhe |
ਓਹੀ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਨਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਥੀਵਦੇ ਹਨ,
They alone become God-conscious beings,
ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ; ਆਪਿ ਕਰੇਇ ॥੨॥
naanak jin prabh; aap karee |2|
ਨਾਨਕ, ਕੇਵਲ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਖੁਦ ਐਹੋ ਜੇਹੇ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
O Nanak, whom God Himself makes so. ||2||
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ; ਸਗਲ ਕੀ ਰੀਨਾ ॥
braham giaanee; sagal kee reenaa |
ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਗਿਆਤਾ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਹੈ।
The God-conscious being is the dust of all.
ਆਤਮ ਰਸੁ; ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਚੀਨਾ ॥
aatam ras; braham giaanee cheenaa |
ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਗਿਆਤਾ ਰੂਹਾਨੀ ਅਨੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
The God-conscious being knows the nature of the soul.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੀ; ਸਭ ਊਪਰਿ ਮਇਆ ॥
braham giaanee kee; sabh aoopar meaa |
ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਗਿਆਤਾ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਉਤੇ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
The God-conscious being shows kindness to all.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਤੇ; ਕਛੁ ਬੁਰਾ ਨ ਭਇਆ ॥
braham giaanee te; kachh buraa na bheaa |
ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਗਿਆਤੇ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਬੁਰਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ।
No evil comes from the God-conscious being.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ; ਸਦਾ ਸਮਦਰਸੀ ॥
braham giaanee; sadaa samadarasee |
ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਗਿਆਤਾ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ, ਪਖਪਾਤ-ਰਹਿਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
The God-conscious being is always impartial.
