ਤਿੱਥ।

T'hitee:

ਮੱਸਿਆ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਖਾਹਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦੇ।

On the day of the new moon, give up your hopes.

ਤੂੰ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜਾਨਣਹਾਰ ਸਾਈਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰ।

Remember the Lord, the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts.

ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜੀਉਂਦੇ ਜੀ ਤੂੰ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਾ,

You shall attain the Gate of Liberation while yet alive.

ਨਿਡੱਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਿੱਜ ਦੀ ਅਸਲੀਅਤ ਦੀ ਗਿਆਤ, ਪਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਵੇਗਾ।

You shall come to know the Shabad, the Word of the Fearless Lord, and the essence of your own inner being. ||1||

ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਕੰਵਲ ਰੂਪੀ ਚਰਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਰਹੜੀ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ,

One who enshrines love for the Lotus Feet of the Lord of the Universe

ਅਤੇ ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਚਿੱਤ ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਰਾਤ ਤੇ ਦਿਨ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਜੱਸ ਗਾਇਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਗਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।

- by the Grace of the Saints, her mind becomes pure; night and day, she remains awake and aware, singing the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises. ||1||Pause||

ਏਕਮ ਤਿੱਥ ਦੇ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਤੂੰ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰ।

On the first day of the lunar cycle, contemplate the Beloved Lord.

ਸਰੀਰ-ਰਹਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦਿਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਖੇਡ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

He is playing within the heart; He has no body - He is Infinite.

ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਪੀੜ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਦਾਚਿੱਤ ਖੈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੀ,

The pain of death never consumes that person

ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਪੁਰਖ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੀਨ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

who remains absorbed in the Primal Lord God. ||2||

ਦੂਜੀ ਥਿੱਤ- ਜਾਣ ਲੈ ਕਿ ਸਰੀਰ ਦੇ ਭਾਗ ਅੰਦਰ ਦੋ ਖੇਡ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

On the second day of the lunar cycle, know that there are two beings within the fiber of the body.

ਮੋਹਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਹਰ ਸ਼ੈ ਨਾਲ ਅਭੇਦ ਹੋਏ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।

Maya and God are blended with everything.

ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨਾਂ ਵਧਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਘਟਦਾ ਹੈ,

God does not increase or decrease.

ਉਹ ਅਗਾਧ, ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਂ ਬਦਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ।

He is unknowable and immaculate; He does not change. ||3||

ਤੀਜੀ ਤਿੱਥ-ਜੇਕਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਦਸ਼ਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਮ ਤੋਲ ਰਹੇ,

On the third day of the lunar cycle, one who maintains his equilibrium amidst the three modes

ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਪਰਸੰਨਤਾ ਦੀ ਜੜ੍ਹ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਮਰਤਬੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਾ ਲੈਦਾ ਹੈ।

finds the source of ecstasy and the highest status.

ਸਤਿ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਦਮੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, faith wells up.

ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਹੀ, ਸਾਡੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਤੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਹੈ।

Outwardly, and deep within, God's Light is always radiant. ||4||

ਚੌਥੀ ਥਿੱਤ - ਆਪਣੇ ਚੁਲਬੁਲੇ ਮਨੂਏ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕ ਕੇ ਰੱਖ,

On the fourth day of the lunar cycle, restrain your fickle mind,

ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਭੋਗ ਤੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਦਾਚਿੱਤ ਊਠਕ ਬੈਠਕ (ਸਾਂਝ) ਨਾਂ ਰੱਖ।

and do not ever associate with sexual desire or anger.

ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੁਛ ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਹੈ।

On land and sea, He Himself is in Himself.

ਉਹ ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

He Himself meditates and chants His Chant. ||5||

ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਥਿੱਤ-ਸੰਸਾਰ ਪੰਜਾਂ ਮੂਲ ਅੰਸ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਸਾਰਾ ਹੈ।

On the fifth day of the lunar cycle, the five elements expand outward.

ਸੋਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਦੀ ਤਲਾਸ਼ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਵਿਵਹਾਰ ਹਨ।

Men are occupied in the pursuit of gold and women.

ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਪਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

How rare are those who drink in the pure essence of the Lord's Love.

ਉਹ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਬੁਢੇਪੇ ਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਤਕਲੀਫ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਠਾਉਂਦਾ।

They shall never again suffer the pains of old age and death. ||6||

ਛੇਵੀ ਥਿੱਤ-ਛਿਆ ਕੁੰਡਲਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਦੇਹਿ ਛਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਵੱਲ ਭੱਜੀ ਫਿਰਦੀ ਹੈ।

On the sixth day of the lunar cycle, the six chakras run in six directions.

ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਸ਼ੁਗਲ ਦੇ ਬਗੈਰ, ਇਹ ਅਸਥਿਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ।

Without enlightenment, the body does not remain steady.

ਦਵੈਤ-ਭਾਵ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਟ ਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਹਿਨ-ਸ਼ੀਲਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਪਕੜ ਰੱਖ।

So erase your duality and hold tight to forgiveness,

ਤੂੰ ਕਰਮ-ਕਾਂਡਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਧਾਰਮਕ ਸੰਸਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੀੜ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਂ ਝੱਲ।

and you will not have to endure the torture of karma or religious rituals. ||7||

ਸਤਵੀ ਤਿੱਥ-ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਚੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਮਝ,

On the seventh day of the lunar cycle, know the Word as True,

ਅਤੇ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਰੂਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰ ਲਵੇਗੀ।

and you shall be accepted by the Lord, the Supreme Soul.

ਤੇਰਾ ਵਹਿਮ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਤੇ ਤਕਲੀਫ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਏਗੀ,

Your doubts shall be eradicated, and your pains eliminated,

ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਬੈਕੁੰਠੀ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਆਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਵੇਗਾ।

and in the ocean of the celestial void, you shall find peace. ||8||

ਅੱਠਵੀ ਤਿੱਥ-ਸਰੀਰ ਅਠਾਂ ਅੰਗਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।

On the eighth day of the lunar cycle, the body is made of the eight ingredients.

ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਅਗਾਧ ਸਾਈਂ ਹੈ।

Within it is the Unknowable Lord, the King of the supreme treasure.

ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮ ਗਿਆਤ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਗੁਰੂ ਇਸ ਭੇਤ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ।

The Guru, who knows this spiritual wisdom, reveals the secret of this mystery.

ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਮੋੜਾ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਅਟੁੱਟ ਅਤੇ ਅਬੇਧ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਵਸਦਾ ਹੈ।

Turning away from the world, He abides in the Unbreakable and Impenetrable Lord. ||9||

ਨੌਵੀ ਥਿੱਤ-ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਵਾਂ ਹੀ ਦਰਵਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਬੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖ।

On the ninth day of the lunar cycle, discipline the nine gates of the body.

ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਵਗਦੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਖ਼ਾਹਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਰੱਖ।

Keep your pulsating desires restrained.

ਸਾਰੇ ਲਾਲਚ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਲਗਨਾਂ ਭੁਲਾ ਦੇ,

Forget all your greed and emotional attachment;

ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਸਦੀਵੀ ਸਥਿਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਫਲ ਖਾ ਲਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਯੁਗਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਜੀਊਦਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ।

you shall live throughout the ages, eating the fruit of immortality. ||10||

ਦੱਸਵੀ ਥਿੱਤ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੀ ਪਾਸੀ ਹੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।

On the tenth day of the lunar cycle, there is ecstasy in all directions.

ਸੰਦੇਹ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮਿਲ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ।

Doubt is dispelled, and the Lord of the Universe is met.

ਮਾਲਕ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਜੌਹਰ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਸਾਨੀ ਹੈ।

He is the Embodiment of light, the incomparable essence.

ਉਹ ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਤੇ ਗੰਦਗੀ-ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ ਜਿਥੇ ਉਹ ਵਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਛਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਧੁੱਪ ਨਹੀਂ।

He is stainless, without stain, beyond both sunshine and shade. ||11||

ਗਿਆਰ੍ਹਵੀ ਤਿੱਥ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਜੇਕਰ ਇਨਸਾਨ, ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਇਕੋ ਹੀ ਪਾਸੇ ਵਲ ਦੌੜੇ,

On the eleventh day of the lunar cycle, if you run in the direction of the One,

ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਜੂਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੁਖੜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਹਾਰਦਾ।

you will not have to suffer the pains of reincarnation again.

ਠੰਢੀ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਦਾਗ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਦੇਹਿ।

Your body will become cool, immaculate and pure.

ਰੱਬ ਜੋ ਦੁਰੇਡੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਨੇੜਿਓ ਹੀ ਪਾ ਲੈਦਾ ਹੈ।

The Lord was said to be far away, but He is found near at hand. ||12||

ਬਾਰ੍ਹਵੀ ਥਿੱਤ-ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਸੂਰਜ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਪੈਦੇ ਹਨ।

On the twelfth day of the lunar cycle, twelve suns rise.

ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਬੈਕੁੰਠੀ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਦੇ ਤੁਰਮ ਵੱਜਦੇ ਹਨ।

Day and night, the celestial bugles vibrate the unstruck melody.

ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਤਦ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਜਹਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਲੈਦਾ ਹੈ।

Then, one beholds the Father of the three worlds.

ਅਸਚਰਜ ਗੱਲ ਬਣ ਆਈ ਹੈ, ਇਨਸਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

This is wonderful! The human being has become God! ||13||

ਤੇਰ੍ਹਵੀ ਤਿੱਥ ਨੂੰ, ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ,

On the thirteenth day of the lunar cycle, the thirteen holy books proclaim

ਕਿ ਪਾਤਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਸਮਾਨ ਸਿਆਣ।

that you must recognize the Lord in the nether regions of the underworld as well as the heavens.

ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਉੱਚਾ ਜਾਂ ਨੀਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਵਾਲਾ ਜਾ ਬੇਇਜ਼ਤ ਹੈ।

There is no high or low, no honor or dishonor.

ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਇਕ-ਰਸ ਰਮਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।

The Lord is pervading and permeating all. ||14||

ਚੋਧਵੀ ਤਿੱਥ - ਚੌਦਾ ਪੁਰੀਆਂ,

On the fourteenth day of the lunar cycle, in the fourteen worlds

ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਵਾਲ ਅੰਦਰ, ਹੰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਵੈਰੀ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਵਸਦਾ ਹੈ।

and on each and every hair, the Lord abides.

ਆਪਣੀ ਬਿਰਤੀ ਸੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜ।

Center yourself and meditate on truth and contentment.

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ਰ ਦੀ ਗਿਆਤ ਦੀ ਕਥਾ-ਵਾਰਤਾ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕਰ।

Speak the speech of God's spiritual wisdom. ||15||

ਪੂਰਨਮਾਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ, ਅਸਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੰਨ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

On the day of the full moon, the full moon fills the heavens.

ਇਸ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਰਮ ਜੇਹੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਫੈਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

Its power is diffused through its gentle light.

ਆਰੰਭ, ਅਖੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪੱਕੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਥਿਰ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

In the beginning, in the end, and in the middle, God remains firm and steady.

ਕਬੀਰ ਪਰਸੰਨਤਾ ਦੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੀਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।

Kabeer is immersed in the ocean of peace. ||16||
