ਨਾਮ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਦਿਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।

The Naam is the Support of all creatures.

ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਥੰਮੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਖਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਮੰਡਲ।

The Naam is the Support of the earth and solar systems.

ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਸਿੰਮ੍ਰਤੀਆਂ, ਵੇਦਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਰਾ ਦਿਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।

The Naam is the Support of the Simritees, the Vedas and the Puraanas.

ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮ-ਵੀਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਬੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਮੁਤਅਲਕ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹਨ।

The Naam is the Support by which we hear of spiritual wisdom and meditation.

ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਅਸਮਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਇਆਲਾ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ।

The Naam is the Support of the Akaashic ethers and the nether regions.

ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ।

The Naam is the Support of all bodies.

ਸਾਰੇ ਜਹਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਡਲ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਟਿਕਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।

The Naam is the Support of all worlds and realms.

ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਪਾਰ ਉਤਰ ਗਏ ਹਨ।

Associating with the Naam, listening to it with the ears, one is saved.

ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਲਕ ਮਿਹਰ ਧਾਰ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ,

Those whom the Lord mercifully attaches to His Naam

ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹ ਸੇਵਕ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਪਾ ਲੈਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮ-ਪਰੰਸਨਤਾ ਦੀ ਚੌਥੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

- O Nanak, in the fourth state, those humble servants attain salvation. ||5||
