ਦੂਸ਼ਨ ਲਾਓ, ਦੂਸ਼ਨ ਲਾਓ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕੋ ਦੂਸ਼ਨ ਲਾਓ।

Slander me, slander me - go ahead, people, and slander me.

ਬਦਖੋਈ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਨੌਕਰ ਨੂੰ ਬੜੀ ਮਿੱਠੀ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ।

Slander is pleasing to the Lord's humble servant.

ਬਦਖੋਈ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬਦਖੋਈ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਮਾਤਾ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।

Slander is my father, slander is my mother. ||1||Pause||

ਜੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਮਤ ਲੱਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ,

If I am slandered, I go to heaven;

ਅਤੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਮੇਰੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿਕ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

the wealth of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, abides within my mind.

ਜੇਕਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੁਹਮਤ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਦ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਹੈ,

If my heart is pure, and I am slandered,

ਤਾਂ ਕਲੰਕ ਲਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਪੜੇ ਧੋਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

then the slanderer washes my clothes. ||1||

ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਲੰਕ ਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਦੋਸਤ ਹੈ।

One who slanders me is my friend;

ਤੁਹਮਤ ਲਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੈ।

the slanderer is in my thoughts.

ਕਲੰਕ ਲਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਉਹ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਬਦਖੋਈ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਹੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ।

The slanderer is the one who prevents me from being slandered.

ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮ ਲਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਮੇਰੀ ਲੰਮੀ ਉਮਰ ਲੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ।

The slanderer wishes me long life. ||2||

ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਤੇ ਨੇਹੂੰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਜੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

I have love and affection for the slanderer.

ਨਿੰਦਾ ਮੇਰੀ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।

Slander is my salvation.

ਗੋਲੇ ਕਬੀਰ ਲਈ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਚੰਗੀ ਸ਼ੈ ਹੈ।

Slander is the best thing for servant Kabeer.

ਨਿੰਦਕ ਡੁੱਬ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤਰ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ।

The slanderer is drowned, while I am carried across. ||3||20||71||
