Shabad

ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਗੋਲੇ ਦੀ ਖਾਹਿਸ਼ ਪੂਰਨ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ,

The wishes of the Lord's servant are fulfilled.

ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਪਾਸੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਸਿਖ-ਮਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਹੈ।

From the True Guru, the pure teachings are obtained.

ਆਪਣੇ ਗੋਲੇ ਉਤੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

Unto His humble servant, God has shown His kindness.

ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਦੀਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

He has made His servant eternally happy.

ਦਾਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੇੜੀਆਂ ਕਟੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੌਖਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

The bonds of His humble servant are cut away, and he is liberated.

ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜੰਮਣਾ, ਮਰਣਾ, ਤਕਲੀਫ ਅਤੇ ਵਹਿਮ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ।

The pains of birth and death, and doubt are gone.

ਉਸ ਦੀ ਖਾਹਿਸ਼ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

Desires are satisfied, and faith is fully rewarded,

ਉਹ ਹਰੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਰਮਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

imbued forever with His all-pervading peace.

ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਉਹ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਭੇਦ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।

He is His - he merges in Union with Him.

ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਰਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।

Nanak is absorbed in devotional worship of the Naam. ||3||
