ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪਾਏ; ਹਮ. ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਭਾਰਿਆ ॥੭॥

ਮਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਪਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਹੋਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਭਾਲਦਾ।
I have found God - I am not searching for any other. ||7||
ਸਾਚ ਮਹਲਿ; ਗੁਰਿ. ਅਲਖੁ ਲਖਾਇਆ ॥
saach mehal; gur. alakh lakhaaeaa |
ਗੁਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਚੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਵਿਖਾਲ ਦਿਤਾ ਹੈ।
The Guru has shown me the unseen Mansion of the True Lord.
ਨਿਹਚਲ ਮਹਲੁ; ਨਹੀ ਛਾਇਆ ਮਾਇਆ ॥
nihachal mehal; nahee chhaaeaa maaeaa |
ਅਹਿੱਲ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ। ਇਹ ਮੋਹਨੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਬਿੰਬ ਨਹੀਂ।
His Mansion is eternal and unchanging; it is not a mere reflection of Maya.
ਸਾਚਿ ਸੰਤੋਖੇ; ਭਰਮੁ ਚੁਕਾਇਆ ॥੮॥
saach santokhe; bharam chukaaeaa |8|
ਸੱਚਾਈ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟਤਾ ਆ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਦੇਹ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Through truth and contentment, doubt is dispelled. ||8||
ਜਿਨ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਸਚੁ ਸੋਈ ॥
jin kai man vasiaa sach soee |
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਰ-ਆਤਮੇ ਉਹ ਸੱਚਾ ਸਾਈਂ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
That person, within whose mind the True Lord dwells
ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ; ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹੋਈ ॥
tin kee sangat; guramukh hoee |
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੇਲ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਧਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
in his company, one becomes Gurmukh.
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਚਿ ਨਾਮਿ; ਮਲੁ ਖੋਈ ॥੯॥੧੫॥
naanak saach naam; mal khoee |9|15|
ਨਾਨਕ ਸੱਚ ਨਾਮ ਮੈਲ ਨੂੰ ਧੋ ਸੁਟਦਾ ਹੈ।
O Nanak, the True Name washes off the pollution. ||9||15||

ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਰੰਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
One whose consciousness is permeated with the Lord's Name
ਉਪਜੰਪਿ ਦਰਸਨੁ; ਕੀਜੈ ਤਾ ਕਾ ॥੧॥
aupajanp darasan; keejai taa kaa |1|
ਸਵੇਰੇ ਪਹੁ-ਫੁਟਾਲੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਦੇਖ।
- receive the blessing of his darshan in the early light of dawn. ||1||
ਰਾਮ ਨ ਜਪਹੁ; ਅਭਾਗੁ ਤੁਮਾਰਾ ॥
raam na japahu; abhaag tumaaraa |
ਤੂੰ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਆਰਾਧਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਇਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਦਕਿਸਮਤੀ ਹੈ।
If you do not meditate on the Lord, it is your own misfortune.
ਜੁਗਿ ਜੁਗਿ ਦਾਤਾ; ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਰਾਮੁ ਹਮਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਹਰਿ ਯੁਗ ਅੰਦਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮਾਲਕ ਬਖਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕਰਣਹਾਰ ਹੈ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।
In each and every age, the Great Giver is my Lord God. ||1||Pause||
ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਰਾਮੁ ਜਪੈ; ਜਨੁ ਪੂਰਾ ॥

ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਤਾਬੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Following the Guru's Teachings, the perfect humble beings meditate on the Lord.
ਤਿਤੁ ਘਟ; ਅਨਹਤ ਬਾਜੇ ਤੂਰਾ ॥੨॥
tit ghatt; anahat baaje tooraa |2|
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਬਿਨਾ ਵਜਾਏ ਸੁਰੀਲੇ ਵਾਜੇ ਵੱਜਦੇ ਹਨ।
Within their hearts, the unstruck melody vibrates. ||2||
ਜੋ ਜਨ; ਰਾਮ ਭਗਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਿਆਰਿ ॥
jo jan; raam bhagat har piaar |
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਮਈ ਸੇਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਹੱਬਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Those who worship the Lord and love the Lord
ਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਰਾਖੇ; ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰਿ ॥੩॥
se prabh raakhe; kirapaa dhaar |3|
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਲਕ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬਚਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
- showering His Mercy, God protects them. ||3||
ਜਿਨ ਕੈ ਹਿਰਦੈ; ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਸੋਈ ॥
jin kai hiradai; har har soee |
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਵਸਦਾ ਹੈ,
Those whose hearts are filled with the Lord, Har, Har
ਤਿਨ ਕਾ ਦਰਸੁ ਪਰਸਿ; ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਈ ॥੪॥
tin kaa daras paras; sukh hoee |4|
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਦੇਖਣ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਰਾਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
- gazing upon the blessed vision of their darshan, peace is obtained. ||4||
ਸਰਬ ਜੀਆ ਮਹਿ; ਏਕੋ ਰਵੈ ॥
sarab jeea meh; eko ravai |
ਸਮੂਹ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਇਕ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਰਮਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
Among all beings, the One Lord is pervading.
ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੀ; ਫਿਰਿ ਜੂਨੀ ਭਵੈ ॥੫॥
manamukh ahankaaree; fir joonee bhavai |5|
ਮਗ਼ਰੂਰ ਆਪ-ਹੁਦਰਾ ਪੁਰਸ਼, ਆਖ਼ਰਕਾਰ ਜੂਨੀਆਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਭਟਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
The eogtistical, self-willed manmukhs wander in reincarnation. ||5||
ਸੋ ਬੂਝੈ; ਜੋ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਏ ॥
so boojhai; jo satigur paae |
ਕੇਵਲ ਉਹੀ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
They alone understand, who have found the True Guru.
ਹਉਮੈ ਮਾਰੇ; ਗੁਰਸਬਦੇ ਪਾਏ ॥੬॥
haumai maare; gurasabade paae |6|
ਆਪਣੀ ਹੰਗਤਾ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਕੇ, ਉਹ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Subduing their ego, they receive the Word of the Guru's Shabad. ||6||
ਅਰਧ ਉਰਧ ਕੀ ਸੰਧਿ; ਕਿਉ ਜਾਨੈ ॥
aradh uradh kee sandh; kiau jaanai |
ਨੀਵੇ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਦੇ ਉਚੇ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਬਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਣ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
How can anyone know of the Union between the being below and the Supreme Being above?
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸੰਧਿ ਮਿਲੈ; ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨੈ ॥੭॥

ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟਤਾ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮਾਲਕ ਦੇ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Gurmukhs obtain this Union; their minds are reconciliated. ||7||
ਹਮ ਪਾਪੀ ਨਿਰਗੁਣ ਕਉ; ਗੁਣੁ ਕਰੀਐ ॥
ham paapee niragun kau; gun kareeai |
ਮੈਂ ਚੰਗਿਆਈ-ਵਿਹੁਣ ਗੁਨਾਹਗਾਰ ਹਾਂ, ਹੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ! ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਪਰਉਪਕਾਰ ਕਰ।
I am a worthless sinner, without merit. What merit do I have?
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਹੋਇ ਦਇਆਲੁ; ਨਾਨਕ ਜਨ ਤਰੀਐ ॥੮॥੧੬॥

ਜਦ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਗੋਲਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਪਾਰ ਉਤਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
When God showers His Mercy, servant Nanak is emancipated. ||8||16||

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਕੇਵਲ ਇਕ ਹੈ। ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਜਿਉ ਗਾਈ ਕਉ ਗੋਇਲੀ; ਰਾਖਹਿ ਕਰਿ ਸਾਰਾ ॥
jiau gaaee kau goeilee; raakheh kar saaraa |
ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਚਰਵਾਹਾ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਗਊਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਦਾ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹਬਾਨੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
As the dairy farmer watches over and protects his cows, so does the Lord cherish and protect us, night and day. He blesses the soul with peace. ||1||
ਅਹਿਨਿਸਿ ਪਾਲਹਿ ਰਾਖਿ ਲੇਹਿ; ਆਤਮ ਸੁਖੁ ਧਾਰਾ ॥੧॥
ahinis paaleh raakh lehi; aatam sukh dhaaraa |1|
ਏਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਰੱਬ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੀ ਦਿਨ ਤੇ ਰੈਣ ਪ੍ਰਵਰਸ਼ ਤੇ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਅੰਦਰ ਠੰਡ-ਚੈਨ ਅਸਥਾਪਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Please protect me here and hereafter, O Lord, Merciful to the meek.
ਇਤ ਉਤ ਰਾਖਹੁ; ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥
eit ut raakhahu; deen deaalaa |
ਇਥੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਥੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰ, ਤੂੰ ਹੈ ਗਰੀਬਾ ਦੇ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ, ਮਾਲਕ।
I seek Your Sanctuary; please bless me with Your Glance of Grace. ||1||Pause||
ਤਉ ਸਰਣਾਗਤਿ; ਨਦਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਲਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
tau saranaagat; nadar nihaalaa |1| rahaau |
ਤੇਰੀ ਪਨਾਹ ਮੈਂ ਢੂੰਡਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਿਗ੍ਹਾ ਕਰ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।
Wherever I look, there You are. Save me, O Savior Lord!
ਜਹ ਦੇਖਉ. ਤਹ ਰਵਿ ਰਹੇ; ਰਖੁ ਰਾਖਨਹਾਰਾ ॥
jeh dekhau. teh rav rahe; rakh raakhanahaaraa |
ਜਿਥੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਉਥੇ ਤੂੰ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰ, ਤੂੰ ਹੇ ਰਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ!
You are the Giver, and You are the Enjoyer;
ਤੂੰ ਦਾਤਾ. ਭੁਗਤਾ ਤੂੰਹੈ; ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਅਧਾਰਾ ॥੨॥
toon daataa. bhugataa toonhai; toon praan adhaaraa |2|
ਤੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਭੋਗਣਹਾਰ ਭੀ ਤੂੰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦ ਜਾਨ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ।
You are the Support of the breath of life. ||2||
ਕਿਰਤੁ ਪਇਆ, ਅਧ ਊਰਧੀ; ਬਿਨੁ ਗਿਆਨ ਬੀਚਾਰਾ ॥
kirat peaa, adh aooradhee; bin giaan beechaaraa |
ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮ-ਗਿਆਤ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਚਣ-ਵਿਚਾਰਣ ਦੇ ਬਗ਼ੈਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ, ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਨੀਵਾਂ ਡਿਗਦਾ ਜਾਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
According to the karma of past actions, people descend to the depths or rise to the heights, unless they contemplate spiritual wisdom.
ਬਿਨੁ ਉਪਮਾ ਜਗਦੀਸ ਕੀ; ਬਿਨਸੈ ਨ. ਅੰਧਿਆਰਾ ॥੩॥
bin upamaa jagadees kee; binasai na. andhiaaraa |3|
ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤੀ ਦੀ ਬਾਝੋਂ ਹਨ੍ਹੇਰਾ ਦੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ।
Without the Praises of the Lord of the Universe, the darkness is not dispelled. ||3||
ਜਗੁ ਬਿਨਸਤ. ਹਮ ਦੇਖਿਆ; ਲੋਭੇ ਅਹੰਕਾਰਾ ॥
jag binasat. ham dekhiaa; lobhe ahankaaraa |
ਲਾਲਚ ਅਤੇ ਗ਼ਰੂਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮੈਂ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਤੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ।
I have seen the world being destroyed by greed and egotism.
ਗੁਰ ਸੇਵਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਇਆ; ਸਚੁ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਦੁਆਰਾ ॥੪॥
gur sevaa prabh paaeaa; sach mukat duaaraa |4|
ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਘਾਲ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਖਸ਼ ਦਾ ਸੱਚਾ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਾ ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
Only by serving the Guru is God obtained, and the true gate of liberation found. ||4||
ਨਿਜ ਘਰਿ ਮਹਲੁ. ਅਪਾਰ ਕੋ; ਅਪਰੰਪਰੁ ਸੋਈ ॥
nij ghar mehal. apaar ko; aparanpar soee |
ਅਨੰਤ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦਾ ਮੰਦਰ, ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਿੱਜ ਦੇ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈ।
The Mansion of the Infinite Lord's Presence is within the home of one's own being. He is beyond any boundaries.
ਬਿਨੁ ਸਬਦੈ. ਥਿਰੁ ਕੋ ਨਹੀ; ਬੂਝੈ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਈ ॥੫॥
bin sabadai. thir ko nahee; boojhai sukh hoee |5|
ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਬਗ਼ੈਰ ਕੁਝ ਭੀ ਮੁਸਤਕਿਲ ਨਹੀਂ। ਮਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
Without the Word of the Shabad, nothing shall endure. Through understanding, peace is obtained. ||5||
ਕਿਆ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ, ਲੇ ਜਾਇ ਕਿਆ; ਫਾਸਹਿ ਜਮ ਜਾਲਾ ॥
kiaa lai aaeaa, le jaae kiaa; faaseh jam jaalaa |
ਤੂੰ ਕੀ ਲਿਆਇਆ ਸੈ, ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਤੂੰ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਫ਼ਾਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਾਥਾ ਕੀ ਲੈ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ?
What have you brought, and what will you take away, when you are caught by the noose of Death?
ਡੋਲੁ ਬਧਾ ਕਸਿ ਜੇਵਰੀ; ਆਕਾਸਿ ਪਤਾਲਾ ॥੬॥
ddol badhaa kas jevaree; aakaas pataalaa |6|
ਰੱਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਘੁਟ ਕੇ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਏ ਖੂਹ ਵਾਲੇ ਡੋਲ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਅਸਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਕਦੇ ਪਾਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ।
Like the bucket tied to the rope in the well, you are pulled up to the Akaashic Ethers, and then lowered down to the nether regions of the underworld. ||6||
ਗੁਰਮਤਿ. ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਵੀਸਰੈ; ਸਹਜੇ ਪਤਿ ਪਾਈਐ ॥

ਜੇਕਰ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਂ ਭੁਲੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸੁਖੈਨ ਹੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Follow the Guru's Teachings, and do not forget the Naam, the Name of the Lord; you shall automatically obtain honor.
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸਬਦੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਹੈ; ਮਿਲਿ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਈਐ ॥੭॥
antar sabad nidhaan hai; mil aap gavaaeeai |7|
ਅੰਦਰਵਾਰ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰੰਤੂ ਇਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਵੈ-ਹੰਗਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
Deep within the self is the treasure of the Shabad; it is obtained only by eradicating selfishness and conceit. ||7||
ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇ. ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪਣੀ; ਗੁਣ ਅੰਕਿ ਸਮਾਵੈ ॥
nadar kare. prabh aapanee; gun ank samaavai |
ਜੇਕਰ ਮਾਲਕ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਧਾਰੇ ਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਗੁਣਵੰਤ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੀ ਗੋਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਲੀਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
When God bestows His Glance of Grace, people settle in the Lap of the Virtuous Lord.
ਨਾਨਕ ਮੇਲੁ. ਨ ਚੂਕਈ; ਲਾਹਾ ਸਚੁ ਪਾਵੈ ॥੮॥੧॥੧੭॥
naanak mel. na chookee; laahaa sach paavai |8|1|17|
ਇਹ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਹੈ ਨਾਨਕ! ਟੁਟਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸੱਚਾ ਨਫ਼ਾ ਕਮਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
O Nanak, this Union cannot be broken; the true profit is obtained. ||8||1||17||
